PACE: Personal and Collaborative E-Learning
 
   


is a project which explores how access to cultural resources can lead to new interplay between personal and collaborative learning in the classroom and in continuous educational environments, with the following objectives:

To enhance access to cultural heritage through the creation of an interactive authoring tool for researchers and students

To develop tools for fixed and mobile access and editing of resources in memory institutions allowing these to be combined with online materials such as textbooks.

To combine personal learning tools with tools for collaborative learning in groups and teams.

To provide online access to high level digital reconstructions produced by ACE with ability to take individual images and scenes for inclusion in notes, reports, essays, multi-media productions.

To enable personal and joint collaborative authoring of and within immersive environments.
