Objectives
The primary objective is to refine the vision of the network and
its structure. A further objective is to explore how these existing
specialised networks (in addition to those which are already members)
and emerging national networks can best be linked in a Network of
Centres of Excellence. |
Description of Work
WP1 will provide
a) an outline of the vision of the partners;
b) evaluate research communities;
c) explore links with existing specalised and emerging national
networks (or how to create such national networks); and
d) recommend possible structures for co-ordinating efforts.
One member from each of the fifteen countries will provide a survey
for their own country (month 4). This document will then be one
of the items discussed by all the members at a conference (month
5).

Milestones and expected results
There
will be a report in month 4 and a conference in month 5.
The expected result is a more comprehensive sense of diverse
approaches in different countries which can serve as a basis
for community building with a realistic common vision and
a common structure. |
